  MANISHA PATEL

  MD

  Growing up, Dr. Manisha Patel spent her summers volunteering at a hospital, where she “fell in love with the idea of being able to help someone in their time of need.” Her favorite part of being a physician is seeing people smile, and she values the relationships she forms with patients. “While the medical concerns need to be addressed, I strive to treat my patients like family and take an interest in their personal lives,” Dr. Patel explains. She enjoys working with the senior population and says, “it is a privilege to have the ability to learn from and serve them.” In her free time, Dr. Patel likes cooking and working out. Family is extremely important to her, and she loves hiking with her husband and dog. Dr. Patel is also an avid chess player.

  Laila Cordero

  MD

  Dr. Laila Cordero says her favorite part of being a physician is “connecting with patients and helping others achieve the highest quality of life.” She considers it a privilege to assist patients with their health and wellness. She especially enjoys coordinating the care of her senior patients. “Medicine is a demanding, yet very rewarding career. I am dedicated to the pursuit of wellness and helping my patients lead a healthier and happier life,” she explains. If Dr. Cordero could change anything about healthcare today, she would lower the cost of medications. When she is not with patients, Dr. Cordero can be found spending time with her family. She also enjoys cooking and going on long walks.
